History of a renovation
In 1977, the British press headlined :
« The Spartan : a fun car that really is fun »
In 2022, a few hours after reading a classified ad, I crack :
One day she will be the most beautiful...
The road will be long to get there.
Follow the history of this car renovation, from the first diagnostics to the removal of the engine and gearbox, from all the steering elements, from the dashboard, to its bodywork.
All parts will be restored, polished, repainted or replaced, and some will be unique, made especially for The French Spartan.
The adventure begin :
Departure for home
April 16, 2022, 17 hours by truck to pick up her majesty from Stonne in the Ardennes.
The Spartan was no longer able to take the road, to do as many kilometres at least.
But what a pleasure these last laps of wheels that allow the Spartan to reach the garage !
And now…
The question is : What must be done ?
The answer is : All !
